A. Procter of Santa Cruz asked permission to hold what he called an old fashioned dance <br />every Saturday evening in the Masonic Hall. On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded <br />by Councilman Christensen, permission was granted. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen, the bill from Stone & <br />Youngberg for $130.15, for special services in connection with the refinancing of the <br />1915 Act Bond delinquencies was ordered paid, with Councilman Eva voting "Noll. <br />After filing affidavit of publication, on motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by <br />r <br />Councilman Eva, Ordinance No. 362, fixing the tax rate and showing the amount of money <br />N <br />to be raised for the ensuing year, was adopted unanimously. <br />Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Jones, proposed the adoption of the following resolu- <br />tion which was unanimously carried. <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that <br />3 C. DIMMITT, City Engineer, be, and he is hereby authorized <br />to make and sign all project proposals under the Works Progress <br />4 Administration on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />The question of what to do about the delinquent water bibs was up for discussion, and it <br />was finally decided, on motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Eva, <br />that the Water Department officials strictly enforce the rules and regulations of the <br />department. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and the California Highway <br />�I <br />Commission have requested the City of Redwood City to approve the routing <br />hereinbefore described and to agree to resume jurisdiction over said <br />�I <br />streets, or portions thereof, as may not be included in the State Highway, <br />when the same is laid out, adopted, and constructed, therefore <br />%i <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br />ii <br />acting on behalf of said City, that said City approve, and it does hereby <br />h' <br />approve, the routi.ng'of said,State Highway_; <br />' That upon the relinquishment of said streets, or any portions <br />�fI <br />f thereof, to the City of Redwood City in the manner provided by law, said <br />City will, and does hereby agree to, resume jurisdiction over said streets, <br />or portions thereof, so relinquished. <br />L <br />E.
