Jones, Paul. A. McCarthy and George <br />W. McNulty received the highest number of votes for Councilmen, and upon motion of <br />Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Christensen, said William Hohn, Robert N. <br />4Jones, Paul A. McCarthy and George W. U611ulty were declared elected members .of the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City for the full term of four (4) years each. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />In connection with the proposed bond issue for Harbor, the City Attorney and William <br />Vielhauer, Editor of the Tribune,, explained about certain difficulties which had <br />arisen which perhaps might make it inadvisable to go ahead at this time. However, <br />it was thought that the matter might be clarified by the following Monday and <br />accordingly, it was decided to have a special adjourned meeting at that time. <br />The approved clai4ns.7,rere ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by <br />Councilman Jones. <br />Before the retirement of Mayor Lambert, the City Clerk, on behalf of the Employees and <br />Councilmen, complimented Mayor Lambert on the success of his incumbency and his <br />civic consciousness, and presented to him a gold plated star of the Police Depart- <br />ment bearing No. 1. Following the presentation, Mayor Lambert thanked his fellow <br />Councilmen, the Department Heads and Employees of the City for their consideration <br />and cooperation, and expressed his regret that he was leaving the service of the <br />City. <br />Adjournment <br />City <br />
