M <br />1 <br />The Council discussed the matter of Series K-12 1915 Act bonds owned by J. F. Knapp, <br />which bonds the city, through Stone & Youngberg, made an agreement to purchase. <br />Said matter was referred to the City Attorney with authority to him to make a <br />tender of the money due Knapp for these bonds which was 90 flat and if Knapp <br />refused delivery, the City Attorney was authorized to file a suit to enforce <br />delivery of the same. This action taken on motion of Councilmen McNulty and <br />Hohn. <br />Councilman McNulty, a short time previously had entered the meeting and been reported <br />as present, and after being informed of the previous action of the Council on <br />s <br />various matters acquiesced thereto. <br />Councilman Eva presented a letter from Stone & Youngberg and asked authorization to <br />forward another letter to holders of 1915 bonds in an effort, to have them turn <br />in their bonds without further personal contact. Upon motion of Councilman <br />Jones, seconded by Councilman Christensen, and carried unanimously, Councilman <br />Eva was authorized so to do. <br />After a general discussion of the appropriation agreed to be made by the city to <br />the Harbor Festival Committee, the Council adjourned. <br />Adjournment. <br />/ - <br />J.
