M
1
The Council discussed the matter of Series K-12 1915 Act bonds owned by J. F. Knapp,
which bonds the city, through Stone & Youngberg, made an agreement to purchase.
Said matter was referred to the City Attorney with authority to him to make a
tender of the money due Knapp for these bonds which was 90 flat and if Knapp
refused delivery, the City Attorney was authorized to file a suit to enforce
delivery of the same. This action taken on motion of Councilmen McNulty and
Hohn.
Councilman McNulty, a short time previously had entered the meeting and been reported
as present, and after being informed of the previous action of the Council on
s
various matters acquiesced thereto.
Councilman Eva presented a letter from Stone & Youngberg and asked authorization to
forward another letter to holders of 1915 bonds in an effort, to have them turn
in their bonds without further personal contact. Upon motion of Councilman
Jones, seconded by Councilman Christensen, and carried unanimously, Councilman
Eva was authorized so to do.
After a general discussion of the appropriation agreed to be made by the city to
the Harbor Festival Committee, the Council adjourned.
Adjournment.
/ -
J. M. a, Clerk pro tem
r
