476 <br />given permission to divide Lots 5 and 6 in Block 7, Redwood Highlands, corner <br />of Arch and Lexington, to show 3 lots facing Arch Street, 2 of them 50 foot �} <br />and a 3rd one 25.97 feet fronting on Arch Street. This subdivision <br />recommended by the City Planning Commission. <br />The following letter was received.from the City Tax Collector: <br />"On November 7, 1938, Mayor Christensen and City Manager Dimmitt <br />recommended that the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) be accepted <br />in settlement of the charges on the following property instead of $114.75 <br />which is actually due if the total amount was paid in full. <br />The property referred to is Arbitrary Block 136, Lot 7B or legal <br />description Lot 6, Block 6, Central Park. <br />Delinquent taxes <br />$ 18.32 <br />Delinquent Weed Tax <br />1.79 <br />Delinquent Bond A <br />45.04 <br />Delinquent Bond K-5 <br />4.49 <br />Tax penalties <br />29.60 <br />Bond penalties <br />15.51 <br />$114.75 <br />A check has been received in the amount of $100.00. Please confirm <br />the above authorization.It <br />Authorization was given on motion of Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilman <br />Fletcher. <br />On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City <br />Treasurer was authorized to pay $75 to the American Red Cross. <br />Report of the special auditor, Lawrence Scudder & Company by their resident <br />partner, C. G. Uhlenberg, was read and, on motion of Councilman McCarthy, <br />seconded by Councilman Fletcher, was ordered filed with the understanding <br />that the provisions in the report relating to operation at the Port be <br />carried out. <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, moved that the Affidavit <br />of the Publication in the Redwood City Tribune of Resolution of Intention <br />No. 1938-6 be filed, following which Councilman McCarthy, seconded by <br />Councilman Anderson, proposed adoption of resolution shown hereinafter, Pqe VII) <br />which carried.
