477 <br />RESOLUTION CLOSING AND VACATING, AS A PUBLIC STREET, HIGHWAY AND RAILROAD <br />CROSSING, THE PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. <br />�f WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, an the 17th day of <br />October, 1938, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. 1938-6 to order the <br />property hereinafter described to be vacated and closed as a public street, <br />highway and railroad crossing. <br />The property -referred to and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 1938-6 <br />is described as follows, to wit: <br />All that certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Counly <br />of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows, to <br />wi t: <br />BEGINNING at a point on the Southeasterly right of way line of .the Southern <br />Pacific Railroad Company's right of way for the Redwood Harbor spur track <br />which is 9.5 feet Southeasterly, measured radially, from the center line <br />of said spur track at Engineer's Station 130+50; thence Northeasterly along <br />said Southeasterly right of way line on the arc of a curve concave to the <br />right and having a radius of 1901.41 feet (tangent to said curve at last <br />described point bears South 1903913211 West) an are distance of 49.779 <br />feet to a point; thence North 6905112811 West 49.5 feet to a point in the <br />Northwesterly line of the right of way of said spur track; thence along <br />said right of way line in a Southwesterly direction on the arc of a curve <br />concave to the left and having a radius of 1949.91 feet (tangent to said <br />curve at last described point bears North 2000913211 East) an arc distance <br />of 51.035 feet to a point; thence South 710211290 East 4g.5 feet to the <br />point of beginning, containing an area of 2445 square feet, more or less. <br />WHEREAS, a notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 1939-6 was <br />r <br />duly published as required by law in the Redwood City Tribune on October 29th and 31st <br />. g and on November 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 7th 9th and 9th 1939 pp <br />as appears from the <br />affidavit of Bernice Gardner, now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of <br />Redwood City, and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the last day of publication was the 9th day of November <br />1939, and <br />i <br />WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City did duly post <br />notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention entitled t'Notice of Public <br />Work1l along the line of the work and improvement to be done as described in said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1939-6, as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Dimmitt, <br />Street Superintendent, now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood <br />City, <br />and it further <br />appears that said notices of passage aforesaid were <br />posted in <br />time, <br />form and manner <br />as appears from the aforesaid affidavit, and <br />WHEREAS, within the time allowed by law no protests were made against the work <br />and improvement of closing the hereinbefore described property and said Council of <br />the City of Redwood City now having acquired jurisdiction thereon: <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the <br />following described property: <br />All that certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the <br />County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as <br />
