Ferrell, representing some of the property owners of the Emerald Lake District, addressed <br />the Council about the desirability of the City of Redwood City taking over and operating this <br />property, and other residents of that locality expressed their approval. Finally after discussing <br />the matter thoroughly, Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Beeger, offered the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF EMERALD LAKE WATER COMPANY PROPERTIES <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has received an offer from the <br />Emerald Lake Water Company, dated January 17, 1933, in which the said Emerald Lake Water <br />Company•offers to transfer to the City of Redwood City.all of its right, title and interest <br />in its water system and certain properties specifically listed in said offer, therefore be it, <br />R— <br />
