city.contribute $100 toward the expense of special counsel and on motion of Councilman <br />I <br />EScCarthy, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, an appropriation of $100 for this purpose <br />I <br />was made. <br />In the 1934-1935 Budget, appropriation was made for Tennis Courts end on motion of Councilman <br />McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty, it was decided to locate these Tennis Courts <br />in Mazes Plaza. <br />Councilman LScNulty, seconded by Councilman Eva, submitted and proposed the adoption of a <br />resolution authorizing the City Engineer, C. L. Dimmitt, to sign whatever papers.were <br />necessary in the application of the City in connection with S.E.R.A., cooperation. The <br />resolution carried. <br />Request was mane by the Chamber of Commerce that a Councilman be designated to cooperate <br />with other organizations of the city to further a community campaign under the National <br />Housing Act. For this purpose, Councilman Christensen was appointed by Mayor Lambert. <br />A communication was read from the California Municipal Utilities Association asking that the <br />City contribute $100 toward the world of this organization.
