2, J!
l/
On motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, and
carried, an ordinance regulating the hours of parking upon certain
streets and portions thereof in the City of Redwood City was intro- li
duced.
H. C. Munson addressed the Council relative to the release of lots in Block 51
of the Reese Subdivision which he is purchasing under contract from
r
the city. Also in connection with said matter Mrs. Miramontes submitted
a letter stating that she had received a check for $300 from Mr. Munson .
for the -release of three lots in said tract fronting on Redwood Avenue,
Mr. Munson having heretofore released three lots fronting..on Redwood
Avenue upon the payment of $100 each.
The agreement to purchase these lots between Mr. Munson and the City pro-
vides that the city will release portions of said Lot 51 of the Reese
Subdivision of at least 6,000 square feet.in area upon the payment of
$100 in cash; which said portions of said Lot 51 so to be released as
aforesaid must be approved by the Planning Commission and City Council
of the City of Redwood City. The six lots fronting on Redwood Avenue
are the most valuable portion of the property being Improved with a
permanent asphalt pavement, while the rest of the property has no improve-
ments of any kind. The matter was heard by the Planning Commission, and
they refused to recommend the release of the three lots requested by
Mr. Munson. On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman
Edmonds, and carried, the Board sustained the action of the Planning
Commission.
✓/
On motion of Councilman Edmonds, seconded by Councilman McNulty, and carried,
unanimously upon roll call, the following resolution was passed.
"RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the City
Hall of said City shall be used forregular and special meetings of the
following boards, "commissions and bodies, to -wit:
1.
