On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, Irene <br />Hernandes was granted permission to'conduct a restaurant in the vici- <br />nity of Five Points, subject, however, to the filing of an applica- <br />tion and approval by the health Department. <br />The City Attorney, on motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman <br />Werder, was directed to prepare and submit at the next meeting an <br />ordinance regulating the showing of Npropagandal' motion pictures, etc. <br />In connection with the building owned by Lillian Kuck at the intersection <br />of Main Street and Fl Camino Peal, the City Attorney and Building <br />Inspector were instructed to begin abatement at once. <br />The City Manager presented the preliminary budget for the year 1941-42 and <br />informed the Council that this budget represented requests as -sub- <br />mitted by the departments without revision or adjustment. <br />Departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />Approved claims aggregating $9,220.84 were ordered paid,. <br />Adjournment. <br />C,.
