rju <br />southeast line of Lincoln Avenue south 440 301 west 148.47 <br />feet to the end thereof as shown on said map; thence leav- <br />ingsaid southeast line of Lincoln Avenue and running along <br />the southwest line thereof north 450 271 west a distance of <br />60 feet as shown on said map; thence leaving said southwest <br />line of Lincoln Avenue and running along the northwest line <br />thereof north 440 301 east a distance of 148.47 feet to an <br />intersection with the southwest line of said Gerwin Avenue <br />(now known as Hudson Street); thence southeasterly across <br />said Lincoln Avenue south 450 271 east 60 feet to the point <br />of beginning. <br />And -said Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby deter- <br />mine and declare that it is unnecessary to take any lands for the work <br />of'closing the hereinbefore mentioned property and that it is unneces- <br />sary to levy any assessment to provide for the closing thereof. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, the Clerk was in - <br />strutted to notify the State Board of Equalization that the Council _protested <br />the granting; of Off Sale Distilled Spirits license to the Economy Drug Company <br />at 2636 Broadway because there are at present 11too manyll places selling dis- <br />tilled spirits. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the 1915 Act Com- <br />mittee was authorized to pay the County Tax_ Collector not more than $10 each to <br />clear the following lots: <br />Lot <br />Block <br />Subdivision <br />196 <br />44 <br />Central Park <br />12 <br />19 <br />Central Park <br />1 <br />16 <br />Central Park <br />17 <br />15 <br />Central Park <br />18 <br />12 <br />Central Park ° <br />9 <br />6 <br />Central Park <br />1 <br />8 <br />Central Park <br />6 <br />11 <br />Range B, Mezesville <br />5 <br />10 <br />Range D, Mezesville <br />31 4, 5, 6 <br />7 <br />Range E, Mezesville <br />1 <br />1 <br />W. W. & M. <br />1/2 of 19, 21 <br />9 <br />New High School Acres <br />18 <br />13 <br />New High School Acres <br />On motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, the 1915 Act <br />Committee was also authorized to prepare for advertising certain lots, list to <br />be prepared by Mr. Paul. <br />The City Treasurer called attention to the fact that the Real Estate Fund was over- <br />drawn and asked from what source it could be replenished. As it was desired to <br />study this situation, the matter was laid over until the nest meeting with the <br />Idea that a committee would work out some plan. <br />The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by <br />Councilman 'Fletcher. <br />Ad,j ournment . <br />City Clerk <br />i <br />�I <br />V <br />
