Christensen, <br />E. A. Fletcher, F. D. Granger, G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, Mayor H. F. <br />Anderson, and City•Clerk C. W. Eltri'ngham; absent, Councilman H. W. Ed- <br />tnonds. Also present were City Manager C. L. Dimmitt, City Attorney Al- <br />bert Mansfield, City Collector Nelle L. Miramontes, Chief of Police C. <br />L. Collins, Chief of Fire Department M. E. Ryan, Superintendent'of Parks <br />Roger Walsh, and Health Department representative W. E. Smith. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting of July 7,'1941, were approved on. motion <br />of Councilman McNulty; seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Application of Zulieka B. Kochart for permit to board two aged people at <br />141 Clinton Street, was granted on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded <br />by Councilman Fletcher, subject however, to inspection and approval by <br />the Fire Chief. <br />Councilman L. C. Christensen was appointed to represent the City as a member <br />of the San Mateo County Defense Council in accordance with request of <br />County Clerk W. H. Augustus. <br />A letter from Foster & Kleiser Co. relative to removal of an advertising struc- <br />ture near the intersection of Spruce Street and E1 Camino -Real was read <br />and ordered filed. <br />Report of Fire Chief M. E. Ryan upon inspection of the dancing pavilion operated <br />by Cal Bunyard, 768 Woodside Road was read. Councilman Werder, seconded <br />3:3x5. <br />
