Motion carried with Councilman <br />Fletcher voting "No". <br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen, offered the fol- <br />lowing resolution: <br />"RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood Oity that <br />said Council hereby directs that a subpoena be issued as -provided in <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City for the appearance of C. H. <br />Holt before said Council at 8:0O o'clock P.M. on the 4th day of Aug- <br />ust, 1941, to testify in the matter of the sale by C.H. Holt on the " <br />18th day of March, 1940, of Lot 12, Block 19 as shown upon the map <br />of Central Park to F. L. Baird. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of July, 1941, by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing res6lution: <br />Councilmen L. ANDERSON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood Cityil' <br />Unanimously carried on roll call vote. <br />City Attorney Mansfield, presented an ordinance regulating the height of fences, <br />walls'and hedges on lot lines. After discussion this matter was ordered <br />held over until the next meeting, and a copy of the proposed ordinance <br />be submitted to each member of -the Council. <br />City Manager Dimmitt read a report resulting from study of flood and drainage <br />conditions which included recommendations of the engineering department <br />for correction thereof.
