362 <br />r <br />u <br />WHEREAS, at the time and place last herein mentioned, no ob, <br />jections of any kind were made against said assessment; and <br />WHEREAS, said Council of the City of Redwood City.has now <br />adquired jurisdiction thereon: <br />-THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, that <br />the assessment above mentioned for stree-t work done under Reso . <br />lution of Intention No. 1941-2, hereinbefore referred to herein, <br />be and the same is. hereby approved and adopted and the Superin- <br />tendent of Streets of said City of Redwood City is hereby di- <br />rected to attach a warrant thereto and deliver same'to the <br />contractor, as required by law. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th .day of Octo- <br />ber, 1941, by the following.;vote: <br />i <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing reso- <br />lution: j <br />Councilmen L. City Manager Dimmitt advised that John Meyers in- <br />tended to sell his property and asked that any action be post- <br />poned for 6 weeks. <br />Z. T. Thorning, in a letter addressed to the City Manager, stated <br />that improvements would be made to the planing mill when the time <br />' was opportune. Reports of the Building Inspector and Fire Chief <br />were read, and on motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Council- <br />man Werder, the City Clerk .was directed to ask Mr. Thorning to meet <br />Informally with the Council at 7:30 P.
