W41 The Council of the City of Redwood City does resolve and ' determine that it is the intention of said Council to call a special election giving at least fifty days notice thereof and to submit to the electors residing in the territory proposed by such petition to be annexed to such municipal corporation the question whether such territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in and made a part of such municipal corporation, the City of Redwood City. Notice is hereby given that up to the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 5th day of June, 1939, at the Council Chamber in Department No. 2 of the Superior Court in the, County Courthouse on Broadway in said City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, any person owning real property within such territory above described and so proposed to be annexed to the City of Redwood City and having any objections to the proposed annexation may appear before the legislative body and show cause why such territory should not be so annexed to the City of Redwood City. All objections or protests must be in writing and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected and the location and area of such property in general terms. And be it further resolved that the City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least once a week for two successive weeks prior to said date for hearing in the Redwood City Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation, published in said City of Redwood City, which Redwood City is the city to which it is proposed to annex the territory described herein and there being no newspaper of general circulation published in the territory proposed to be annexed.
