14 <br />L] <br />1 <br />°RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING <br />FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL <br />MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF <br />1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE <br />WHEREAS, -a first supplemental memorandum of agreement has <br />been presented to be entered into with the State of California in' <br />accordance with a project statement for expenditure of the 1/4 cent <br />gas tax for the fiscal year 1942 allocated for streets of major <br />importance other than State highways in the City of Redwood -City; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in <br />full and is,familiar with the contents thereof; <br />THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City <br />of Redwood City that said project statement be and it is hereby <br />adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the 1/4 cent <br />gas tax allocated for streets of major importance other than State <br />highways and said agreement be and the same is hereby approved and <br />the City Manager is directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, <br />said agreement to be binding upon the City upon its execut-l.'oln by the <br />authorized officials of the State. <br />ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1941. <br />H.
