394 <br />The matter of amending the dance ord.inance'to permit occasional dancing <br />in places where no regular dances are conducted was discussed and <br />on recommendation of the Chief of Police it was decided to make <br />no change in the present.ordinance but that two types of permitb <br />be.granted, one, a special permit for dances on a specified date. <br />where admission is to be charged, the other, a good until revoked <br />permit to be issued to establishments where dances are not publi- <br />cized and no admission charge is made. It was further decided that <br />all dance permits must be conspicuously posted. <br />The following resolutions were unanimously adopted on motion of Council- <br />man Werder, seconded by Councilman Fletcher: <br />."RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the <br />hereunto :ann,exeX Easement dated the let day of November, 1941, and <br />made between Terenty Mel,n:ik and Eva Melnik;: his wife, first parties, <br />and the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation, second party, <br />be and the same is hereby accepted by the City of redwood City, and <br />the'Olerk of said City is hereby authorized and directed to have <br />said Easement recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County <br />of San Mateo, State of California. <br />Passed and adopted by the'Council of the City of Redwood City <br />at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of November, 1941, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen L. C: Christensen, E. A. Fletcher, F. D. Granger, <br />G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, H.
