414 <br />0 <br />The property is described as °A strip of land ten (10) feet in <br />width across the westerly one-half of Lot 1, Block 1, Friend Indus- <br />trial Tract, the northerly line of which is the Building Set Back <br />Line parallel and 50 feet distant from the northerly line of Bayshore <br />Highway, as said Lot J. and said Building Set Back Line is shown on <br />the Map of "Friend Industrial tract° filed for record December 31,. <br />1940, in Book 23 of Maps at page 33 in the office of the Recorder <br />of San Mateo County, State.of California." <br />The City Manager made a report of the Clean -Up matter, and after con- <br />siderable discussion relative to the house on the right hand side <br />of Main Street nearest Bradford Street, on motion of Councilman <br />Granger, seconded by Councilman Werder, and carried,.water service <br />``to be discontinued upon said premises, same being now vacant; and <br />P. G. & E. and owner informed accordingly. <br />The matter of .the study on the,traffic survey -was ordered placed on the <br />agenda for the next meeting, January 51 1942. <br />Resolution was passed and adopted by unanimous roll call of councilmen <br />present accepting deed from Beeger Tanning Company to the City for a <br />two acre parcel of Lot 10 of Lands of the Redwood City Harbor Com- <br />pany at the Port of Redwood City. (Recorded 12/18/41, volume 1002, <br />Page 119) <br />A letter was directed to be written to Mr. John Meyer, owner of property <br />at the corner of Main and Spruce Streets requesting him to meet with <br />the Council at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, January 59 1942, in the City <br />Manager's office to discuss the condition of the improvements upon <br />his property. <br />A discussion was had relative to a certain lot on the east side of Quartz <br />Street near Jefferson Avenue upon which it was alleged old lumber <br />had been piled, and the matter was ordered placed on the agenda for <br />the next meeting, January 5, 1942. <br />Claims In the amount of $12,846.44 were presented and on motion of Council- <br />man McNulty,•seconded by Councilman Christensen, and carried, were <br />ordered paid. <br />On motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the Council <br />adjourned. <br />CWE : NIM <br />( tn) - <br />C.
