M <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 19, 1942 <br />8:00 P. M. <br />Upon roll call the following were present: Councilmen L. C. Christensen, <br />E. A. Fletcher, F. D.'Granger, G. W. McNulty, H. F. Anderson,,and <br />City Clerk C. W. Eltringham; absent, Councilmen H. W. Edmonds and <br />W. M. Werder. Also present were City Manager C. L. Dimmitt, City <br />Attorney Albert Mansfield, City Collector N. L. Miramontes, Chief of <br />Police C. L. Collins, Building Inspector L. M. Duncan, Superintendent <br />of Parks Roger Walsh. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting of January 51 1942, were approved on <br />motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Recommendation of Redwood City Planning Commission to change the names of <br />certain streets in the Lenolt Tract was ordered continued uhtil the <br />next meeting. <br />It was decided, on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by gouncilman . <br />Granger, to continue the charge for library service of 25¢ per annum <br />for non-resident grammar school students, and $1.00 per annum for non- <br />resident high school students. <br />In'connection with the Traffic Study Committee; there was read a letter <br />signed by Temporary Secretary Roscoe D. Wyatt advising that a meeting <br />had been held on December 8, and requesting approval to enlarge the <br />committee to include one member from the Business and Professional <br />Women's Club and one from the schools. Approval given on motion of <br />Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen, offer <br />of Leonard Realty Co. to p wchase the following lots was approved, sub - <br />,jest, however, to modification of the offer to the extent that F.H.A. <br />and 017P.M. approval must be obtained within 90 days: <br />SW? <br />of Lot <br />10 <br />Block 4 <br />N <br />of Lot <br />9 <br />° 4 <br />Lot <br />1 <br />" 38 <br />Lot <br />1 <br />2 <br />SEi <br />of Lot <br />10 <br />" 8 <br />Lot <br />1 <br />" 5 <br />Lot <br />28 <br />& <br />27 <br />" <br />Lot <br />56 <br />& <br />57_ <br />Lot <br />23 <br />& <br />24 <br />" 6 <br />Lot <br />6 <br />& <br />7 <br />" 2 <br />Jefferson Acres. 400.00 <br />11 400.00 <br />Central Park # 2 300.00 <br />Magruder's Sub.
