`12 <br />The matter of floods in the vicinity of California Street and Broadway was <br />discussed. City Manager Dimirtitt stated that to correct this condition, <br />it would be necessary to build another sewer which would cost about <br />$1,900.00, and on motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman <br />Werder, the City Manager was instructed to create a project of this <br />matter for Anclusion in the next budget. <br />The City Manager further reported that with the co-operation of <br />the County Engineer's office, he will solicit a survey of the entire <br />Redwood City area by the U. S. Engineers in hopes of obtaining Federal <br />assistance in controlling floods. <br />Complaint of F. G. Musso about playing of the music box in the Carnation <br />Creamery fountain adjoining his drug store late at night was referred <br />to the City Manager. <br />Departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />Approved claims Nos. 949 to 1002 aggregating $7,252..60 were ordered paid. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Granger, the Council <br />adjourned in respect to the memory of W.
