<br />! E H. F. Anderson, and City Clerk C. W. Eltringham; absent, Councilman
<br />H. W. Edmonds and City Manager C. L. Dimmitt. Also present were City
<br />IE Attorney Albert Mansfield, City Collector Nelle L. Miramontes, Chief
<br />Letter from Mary G. Thorning, Chairman, Redwood City Chapter, American Red
<br />Cross, expressing appreciation for use of the old library building was
<br />ordered filed.
<br />There was read a communication from the Redwood City Commuters Club rela-
<br />tive to the fence placed along Winslow Street near the Southern
<br />Pacific depot, expressing the view,�'of the club on this matter and
<br />concurring in the action of the Southern Pacific Co. by maintaining
<br />a barrier along the mainline tracks. It was directed that a copy of
<br />f.
<br />the letter be submitted to the Southern Pacific Co.
<br />In connection with the request of the California Real Estate Magazine for r
<br />half -page advertisement in the June issue, it was decided, on motion
<br />of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman Werder., that due to
<br />present conditions no action would be taken at this time.
<br />On motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman Granger, Councilman
<br />tEdmonds was granted a 90 day leave of absence and permission to leave
<br />E
<br />the State, effective as at March 20; 19/+2.

<br />} Resolutions accepting the following quit -claim and tax deeds were unani-
<br />mously adopted on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Council-
<br />man Christensen:
<br />of Police C. L. Collins, Chief of Fire Department M.
<br />E. Ryan, Build-
<br />Ying
<br />Inspector L. M. Duncan, Superintendent of Parks
<br />Roger Walsh, and
<br />E
<br />W. E. Smith representing the Health Department.
<br />The minutes of the regular meeting of March 2, 1912, were approved on
<br />motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman
<br />Fletcher,
<br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman
<br />McNulty, contri-
<br />bution to San Mateo County Blood Bank in the amount
<br />of $100.00 was
<br />approved.
<br />Permission to hold Easter Sunrise services at the Emerald Lake Bowl was
<br />granted R. F. EdgeW66d, president, San Mateo County
<br />Ministerial Union,
<br />on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen.
