Miramontes 3 <br />r, <br />The matter of closing of stores was ordered dropped from the agenda. j <br />Action on the request of David Holder for diversion of water from Lot 1, <br />Block 11, Oak Knoll Manor was postponed until the next meeting. <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement for <br />expenditure of 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for -state highways was unani- <br />mously adopted on motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Council- <br />man Werder. <br />Application for dance permit by Court Madrone No. 158, F. of A., to be held <br />on April 7, 19/+2, wa,s approved on motion of Councilman Granger, seconded <br />by Councilman Werder. <br />The City Clerk was, on motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman <br />Werder, directed to address a letter to tavern owners relative to -obtain- <br />ing dance permits as required by Ordinance No. 472. <br />Permission to conduct a used car lot at 332 El Camino Real was granted Cuddy <br />Motor Co. on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty. <br />The matter of posting time -`limit parking signs on the Main and Perry Streets <br />parking lots, and such other parking lots as may now be under control of <br />the City, or may hereafter come under the control of the City was, on <br />motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, referred <br />to the Traffic Study Committee for recommendation. <br />In connection with the California Street parking, lot, Councilmen Granger and <br />Fletcher were.appo,inted to contact Mr. Cheatham and arrange for lease of <br />same to the City. <br />On motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman Granger, the City Clerk <br />was directed to inform Mr. H. H. Weiner that he must within two weeks, re- <br />move the real estate office building now located on El Camino Real near the <br />northerly city limits or action would be brought for abatement of same. <br />Matters discussed and ordered placed on the agenda for the next meeting were: <br />Placing,of street light on Woodworth Street between Edgewood Road <br />and Whipple Avenue; and condition of intersections of Roosevelt Avenue <br />and Hudson Street, and Redwood Avenue and Hudson: <br />Departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />Approved claims Nos. 1114 to 1177, inclusive, in theā¢amount of $10,886.23 were <br />ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman <br />Fletcher. <br />Ari. j ournmdAM . <br />C.
