452 <br />1 <br />Anderson seconded by Councilman McNulty, Councilman Werder was nominated <br />for temporary Chairman. The motion was defeated 4 to 2 by a 'roll call <br />vote; Councilmen Britschgi, Fletcher, Granger and Werder voting "Not'. <br />Following this, on nomination by Councilman Britschgi, seconded by <br />Councilman McNulty, Councilman Granger was unanimously chosen on roll <br />call vote as Chairman and Mayor pro -tem. <br />The City Attorney was directed to submit for introduction at the next meeting <br />an ordinance regulating the.parking limit in City Controlled parking lots'. <br />The City Clerk was directed, on motion of Councilman Werder seconded by <br />Councilman Anderson to request the Southern Pacific Company to provide <br />racks for bicycles at the Depot. <br />Departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />Approved claims Nos. 1335 to 1396 Amounting to $8861+.21 were ordered paid on <br />motion of Councilman McNulty seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Adjournment. <br />CWE:ES <br />C.W. A. <br />Britschgi, E. A. Fletcher, G. W. McNulty, W. M. Werder, Mayor pro -tem <br />F. D. Granger and City Clerk C. W. Eltringham; absent, Councilman <br />H. W. Edmonds. Also present were City Manager C. L. Dimmitt, City <br />Attorney P. A. McCarthy, City Collector N. L. Miramontes, Police <br />Lieutenant S. D. Wood, Fire Chief M. E. Ryan, Building Inspector L. M. <br />Duncan and Superintendent of Parks Roger Walsh. <br />Following roll call nominations were called for a permanent chairman. <br />Councilman Werder nominated Councilman Granger, and on motion of <br />Councilman Anderson seconded by Councilman McNulty, nominations <br />were closed. Councilman Granger was then chosen Chairman and Mayor <br />by unanimous vote of the Councilmen present. <br />Application by N. F.
