"That the streets and Circle hereinbefore mentioned and intersections thereof be graded for their full width and for the lengths mentioned herein and de- scribed, and by having constructed on both sides of said streets and Circle and around the park within the intersection of said Nevada Street and Cuter Circle, combined cement concrete curbs and gutters, and by constructing between said combined curbs and gutters a four (411) inch stabilized slurry base pavement with an asphaltic armor coat wearing surface; that three (3) hydraulic cement reinforced concrete storm water drop inlet catch basins with cast iron frames and gratings be constructed; two (2) of said drop inlet catch basins to be constructed one on each side of Nevada Street between James Avenue and Katherine Street; and one (1) of said drop inlet catch basins to be constructed on the southeast side of Katherine Street 15 feet northeasterly from the northeast line of Nevada Street, said three (3) drop inlet catch basins to be connected by a circular twelve (1211) inch cement concrete pipe drain one hundred and fifty four (154) feet in length. The width of those portions of Nevada Street, Katherine Street and Cuter Circle hereinbefore mentioned, and the width of the roadways thereof and the width of the sidewalks thereof are to be and are as shown on the plans, profiles and detailed drawings hereinafter referred to herein. All work provided for herein shall be done and made to the grades, as shown on the plans, profiles and detailed drawings, which grades are hereby adopted as the official grades for said work and improvements, and reference is hereby made to the plans, profiles and detailed drawings for a description of the grades at which said work is to be done and said improvements made and the same are made a part hereof. All the hereinbefore and hereinabove mentioned and described work and im- provements are to be done and made at the locations and positions and of the sizes and dimensions and of the materials as shown and described on the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on the 15th day of'May, 1939, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City, to which plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications reference is hereby made for a complete descrip- tion and location of said work and improvements and -for further particulars, and the same are made a part hereof. And the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby determine and declare that the foregoing described work and improvements are of more than local or ordinary public benefit and will affect and benefit the lands and district hereinafter mentioned, which said district is hereby declared to be the district benefited by said work and improvements; that therefore the entire costs and expenses of said work and improvements shall be and are hereby, made chargeable against and shall be assessed upon said lands and district, which district is within the limits of the .City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, and said district is described and shown on a certain map or plat entitled "Map Showing Assessment District Under $esolu- tion of Intention No. 1939-41, which map or plat was adopted and approved by the Council of the City of Redwood City on the 15th day of May, 1939, and which map or plat is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and to which map or plat reference is hereby made for an accurate and complete description and location of said assessment district and the same is made a part hereof; provided, however, that all streets, circles and parks or portions thereof included within said assessment dis- trict and shown on the map or plat thereof shall be omitted from any assess- ment levied for the costs and expenses of the work aforesaid, said streets, circles and parks and portions thereof now being in public use as public streets, circles and parks, And notice is hereby given and the Council of the City of Redwood City does determine that serial bonds bearing interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent per annum from their date shall be issued as provided by Section 5 of Article 1 of Ordinance No. 333 of the City of Redwood City, commonly known as "Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance" to represent each assess- ment of twenty-five ($25) dollars or over for the costs and expenses of said work and improvements. Said bonds shall extend from their date over a period of nine (9) years from the 2nd day of January next succeeding the 15th day of the next November following their date. All work provided for herein shall be done as provided in Section 3 of Article 1 of Ordinance No. 333 of the City of Redwood City, commonly known as "Redwood City Im- provement Procedure Ordinance", which ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on the 14th day of March, 1932, and is now of record and on file in the office of the Clerk of said City of Redwood City and to which reference is hereby made and the same made a part hereof.
