EltringhamY7ty Clerk <br />2MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 28, 1942 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />Upon roll call the following were present: Councilmen H. F. Anderson, <br />Carl A. Britschgi, E. A. Fletcher, W. W. Hilton, G. W. McNulty, <br />W. M. Werder and Mayor F. D. Granger and City Clerk C. W. <br />Eltringham. <br />Affidavit of Robert F. West that notice of this special meeting had <br />been, -served upon all of the Councilmen was ordered filed. <br />C. W. Eltringham, City Clerk -Treasurer -Auditor was, on motion of <br />Councilman Fletcher seconded by Councilman Werder, appointed <br />City Manager pro temporeā¢, with the understanding that the <br />duties of City Manager would be assumed in addition to present <br />duties and that compensation would be equal to the amount pro- <br />vided for the position of City Manager. Motion carried. <br />The Oath of Office of C. W. Eltringham as'City Manager pro tempore, <br />was then administered by City Attorney McCarthy and same was <br />ordered filed. <br />Resolution authorizing C. W. Eltringham, City Clerk and Treasurer <br />in conjunction with F. D. Granger, the Mayor of the City of <br />Redwood City to sign all warrants and/or checks for payment <br />of City moneys was unanimously adopted on motion of Council- <br />man Anderson seconded by Councilman Werder. <br />Resolution granting C. W. Eltringham, City Treasurer and F. D. Granger, <br />Mayor, authority to enter the Cityts Safe Deposit Box at the Bank <br />of America, Redwood City Branch was unanimously adopted on motion <br />of Councilman Anderson seconded by Councilman Hilton. <br />I <br />Mayor Granger and Councilman Anderson were, on motion'of Councilman <br />Hilton seconded by Councilman McNulty appointed to act in an <br />s <br />r <br />i <br />473 <br />
