Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, moved that the
<br />bid of Mrs. Ethyl Ward, 260 Valota Road, in the sum of $200 to
<br />?purchase Lot 47, Block 4, West Redwood, be accepted with instruc-
<br />tions to the attorney to draw up the necessary papers.
<br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, moved that the
<br />bid of L. J. Clements in the sum of $750 to purchase Lots 2,
<br />3, 4, 5, and 6 in Block 41, Central Park, be accepted with in-
<br />structions to the attorney to draw up the necessary papers.
<br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, moved that the
<br />bid of Firs. David Holder in the sum of $1060 to purchase Lot 7,
<br />Block 4, New High School Acres, and $530 for the VTz of Lot 6,
<br />Block 4, New High School Acres, be accepted with instructions to
<br />the attorney to draw up the necessary papers.
<br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, moved that the
<br />bid of W. M. Forcum in the -sum of $600 to purchase V12 of Lot 11;
<br />Block 10, and Lot 12, Block 10, Range D, Mezesville, be accepted
<br />with instructions to the attorney to draw up the necessary papers.
<br />N. F. Nelson proposed to buy Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Jefferson Acres,
<br />for $1125 provided that the proposed subdivision he requested
<br />be approved. As the Planning Commission had indicated its recom-
<br />mendation that the proposed subdivision be allowed, it was so
<br />ordered on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman
<br />McNulty. Then on motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Council-
<br />man Fletcher, Mr. Nelson's bid was accepted and the lots ordered sold
<br />to him, with instructions to the attorney to draw up the necessary
<br />papers.
<br />The Chapple Realty Company submitted bid of $925 for Lots 3, 4, 5, and
<br />a portion of 6 in Block 7, Mezesville, Range E, and W. M. Forcum
<br />also submitted a bid for the same property in the sum of $875. As
<br />this bid was high, the lots were ordered sold to him on motion of
<br />Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, with instruc-
<br />tions to the attorney to draw up the necessary papers.
<br />There was ordered filed affidavits of posting notices for work under
<br />Resolution of Intention No. 1939-4, Nevada Street, by Lisle Winter
<br />and C. L. Dimmitt, Street Superintendent. Following this, Council-
<br />man McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, proposed the adoption
<br />of the following resolution which carried.
