M. <br />CitAlerk kAA <br />Upon roll call the following councilmen were. present: H.F. Anderson, E.A. Fletcher, <br />ilm. Hohn, R.N. Jones, P.A. McCarthy, G.W. McNulty, Mayor L.C. Christensen, <br />and City Clerk B.E. Myers. <br />The minutes of the meeting of October 2 were approved on motion of Councilman <br />Anderson, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, with the following corrections: <br />The description of the lot sold to Walter T. Walsh was changed to read <br />"the southeasterly 40.14 feet of Lot 33 of the Lee Tract." Also, in con- <br />nection with the inquiry of Charles C. Gans, County'Health Director, the <br />Clerk was instructed to show the vote on this motion as three for and <br />three against, including Councilman Anderson among those who voted "No." <br />F. E. O'Connell, Paul Lowe, and Rollo LaBerge, addressed the Council concern- <br />ing the desirability of accepting from Mr. Chase Littlejohn his collection <br />of birds, butterflies, etc. Mr. Littlejohn was also presented to the <br />Council and discussed his collection. On motion of Councilman Fletcher, <br />seconded by Councilman Anderson, the Council expressed its thanks to Mr. <br />Littlejohn for his offer and expressed its appreciation for what he had <br />done in Redwood City. It was brought out that the principal requirement <br />was to house the collection, and on motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded <br />by Councilman Fletcher, the -Mayor was asked, and did appoint, C. L. Dimmitt, <br />Councilman Anderson, and Councilman Fletcher to serve as a committee to <br />ascertain the cost of cases or other containers for this collection.
