The Clerk <br />was instructed to furnish a copy of this report to the Chamber of <br />Commerce, indicating that the Council had approved it. <br />On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty, restaurant <br />license was granted to Jack Epstein for business located at 2116 Broadway. <br />Concurring in the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, it was <br />decided, on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman And- <br />erson, to grant to Mr. Al Lascy permission to subdivide Lot 4 in Block 4, <br />Oak Knoll Manor, to form three suitable lots on which buildings could be <br />erected. <br />There was also filed by the City Planning Commission a letter recommending <br />to the Council that R. W. Perkins be granted permission to build on Lots 1, <br />21 4, and 5 as shown on a proposed subdivision of Lot 5 of the Eagle Hill <br />Villa Tract. No action was taken as Mr. Perkins would be regularly within <br />i; <br />his rights to ask building permit for this location. <br />'i The Chamber of Commerce recommended to the Council that $50 be paid from the <br />' City Advertising Fund toward the expense of an agent incurred in his <br />efforts to secure the selection of Moffett Field as the site for the <br />Aeronautics Laboratory. On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by <br />Councilman Anderson, the appropriation was ordered. <br />i <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty, proposed the introduction <br />of ordinance regulating hours of parking on Middlefield Road and Jefferson <br />Avenue. Carried. <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, proposed introduction of <br />ordinance authorizing the sale of the following described property: "The <br />southeast 40.14 feet of Lot 33, as said lot is shown on the Map of "Lee <br />Tract, a portion of the McEvoy Ranch" filed October 17th, 1905, in Book "E° <br />of Maps, page 42, in the Recorders office of the County of San Mateo, <br />State of California." Carried. <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty, proposed the adoption of <br />resolution accepting quit claim deed from the Moxey Realty Company for <br />I <br />Lots 3, 4, 5, and 6 in Block 1, Subdivision•of Lot 30, Reese Tract. <br />Carried. Also, on motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Council- <br />man McNulty, the treasurer was authorized to pay the 14oxey Realty Company <br />$5 each for these four lots. <br />
