<br />for loading zone. After discussion, Mr. Berman was advised to contact the nine
<br />r other merchants in the area and report the results to City Manager Mead who will
<br />i in turn refer the.matter to the Traffic Study Committee for their recommendations
<br />Mr. R. H. Madden, Rt. 19 Box 3919 Redwood City, appeared to request permit to conduct

<br />Farmers Exchange or Market on the Kertz property on Bayshore south of Chestnut

<br />Street in.the Friend Industrial Tract, Mr. Madden explained this business would
<br />be conducted along. Public auction lines and wholesale produce, livestock etc

<br />j would'be brought in to the market by farmers and sold at auction in large, lots.

<br />was granted subject to payment of proper license fee and full compliance with

<br />ordinance. Under question, Mayor Granger explained he would vote yes providing

<br />license could be revoked. Councilman Armstrong questioned City Attorney re-
<br />,.t garding license fee applicable under Ordinance #447. Discussion revealed that
<br />license once granted could not
<br />be revoked except for specific cause.
