Councilman Fletcher- brought up the matter of double parking on Broadway between E1 Camino Real and California Street. He suggested that the'Police Department check into the matter. City Manager Mead will check and report at -next meeting. Mayor Granger asked City Manager Mead to report on matter of bicycle racks. City ? Manager Mead stated there had been some difficulty in getting material but that the rack will be up before the end of the week. City Manager Mead suggests the Council pass an ordinance permitting the City to pick up bicycles left there, C' On motion duly made and seconded, matter of abatement proceedings on the E. Lombardino property, Lot 10, Block 4, Range A, Mezesville, was put over to the meeting of December 20, 1943. .i j .' Claims Nos. 3402 to .3473 in the amount of $8,190.87 were approved and ordered paid .on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. - Mayor Granger presented a resolution that the Council -adjourn out of respect to the memory of Kenneth Phillips, a former member of the Rediood City Municipal Band, 6 who was killed in action in Italy on October 14, 1,543, and that a copy of resolution be sent to members of his family. Resolution was offered byLCouncil- If man Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that the,Council adjourn in respect to the memory of Kenneth Phillips, a former member- of the Redwood City municipal Band, who was -.killed in action in Italy on October .14, 1943, and that a copy of the resolution be sent to members of his family.
