t <br />Councilman Hilton said he had seen cars parked in front of the theatre <br />at night and would take the license number the next time he saw it. City <br />Manager Mead said he would appreciate a report on it. Councilman Fletcher <br />believed there was no flagrant violation of.the privilege. <br />CouncilmanMcNulty believed the privilege should be continued and Council- <br />man Britschgi said that if the City Manager believed the'privilege should be <br />allowed, he believed it should continue as at present. <br />Mr. Miles asked what conclusion has been reached +bh the store -front post-war plan. <br />Mayor Granger stated he didn't believe the Council was interested, to which <br />Councilman Britschgi• replied that he did not believe that was a fair statement,' <br />that he had merely questioned the legality of the plan. <br />Councilman Hilton suggested the matter be referred to the Chamber of <br />Commerce. Councilman AMstrong explained that his purpose inrrecommending <br />earlier in the meeting that the matter be referred to the industrial committee <br />was that the committee could work with the Chamber of Commerce and other organ- <br />izations and -moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that the matter be re- <br />ferred to the industrial committee. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilman Fletcher offered resolution, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that the <br />meeting be adjourned in respect to the memory of John A. 'Gilson, who lost his <br />life while in the service of his country and that a copy of the resolution be <br />sent to members of his family. On call of roll, motion carried. <br />Councilman Fletcher, offered resolution, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that the <br />meeting be adjourned in respect to the memory of Irvin Ulmer, Ano lost his <br />life while in -the service of his country and that a copy of the resolution be <br />sent to members of his family.
