City Clerk Dodge read communication from Joseph Corbett in which he tendered his resignation as a member of the Board of Review inasmuch as he was -no longer a resident of the city. Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that Mr. Corbetts resignation be accepted with regret and that -the City Clerk so advise him. Motion passed unanimously. Matter of a new appointment to this Board was placed on the agenda for the next meeting. City Clerk Dodge read communication from the Ryan School of Aeronautics, addressed to Mayor Granger, in regard to an airline feeder pith -up service throughout the State df California, the City of Redwood City being one of the cities proposed i to be served in this manner. Councilman Britachgi moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that the letter be referred to the City Manager. Under the question, Mayor Granger asked if there could be a report on the matter at the next meeting. City Manager Mead replied he.will fill out the forms required and will report at the next meeting. Motion passed unanimously. Pdrs. Archibald appeared before the Council in regard to the Louis Del Ben property, stating that he had torn dorm the building and had not removed the platform. City Attorney McCarthy stated he did not believe any legal steps could be taken against Mr. Del Ben. Mr. Duncan stated that technically the platform is part of I a building but that Mr. Del Ben had wished to use it to pile lumber on to keep it from getting damp. Councilman Anderson asked if Mr. Del Ben had built just what is there now, would he be in violation of the ordinance? Building Inspector Duncan replied that he would not as it is not a building. Mrs. Archibald be. Ilieved that inasmuch as it was illegal to erect the building in the first place, he should be made to completely tear it down.
