City Manager Mead reported that he understood that the <br />State Highway Department was in favor of the curb being there and that he was <br />going to contact Colonel Ske,gs in regard to this matter.. <br />Councilman Granger askec'- if the industrial ,committee h,'s,d .giver] ;any- consideration to <br />the post war plan in regard to store fronts. He moved that the matter be referred <br />to the industrial committee, seconded by Councilman Armstrong. notion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Councilman Britschgi moved that the matter of moving the stop sign from Middlefield <br />Road to Jefferson Avenue, so that 11iddlefield Road would be a through street, be <br />referred to the Traffic Study Committee for consideration, seconded by Council- <br />man Anderson. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Britschgi brought up the fact.that there is no light in front of the post <br />office and believed there should be one there. City Manager Mead stated he would <br />laok into the matter. Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty <br />that the matter be referred to the city manager for further study. <br />Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that the meeting be ad- <br />I <br />journed to 7:30 P.M., Monday, June 26th.
