■ <br />Councilman Armstrong asked the status of the partially completed structure at the <br />li corner of Copley and Whipple. Building Inspector Duncan stated that the owner <br />j had not applied for a permit and stated that the structure started on the <br />i <br />r,. premises was in violation of the building Code. Councilman Armstrong moved, <br />seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that the property owner be advised that <br /><there is a structure partially constructed that does not meet with the buildinE4 <br />code and that he be instructed to appear at the next, meeting of the Council <br />;J to show cause why the building should not be removed. Motion passed unanimous' -y. <br />Councilman Britschgi asked the position of other city employees residing outside the <br />?! 5 city limits, to which Mayor Hilton replied he believed they were all under the <br />_•� _ same ruling. <br />Councilman McNulty moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, that claims No. 4333 to <br />4395 in the amount of &"10, 540.82, be approved and ordered paid. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Councilman Granger offered resolution, seconded by Councilman Anderson, adjourning <br />Ij the meeting in respect to the memory of Lt. Colonel K. F. McLeod who lost his <br />life while in the service of his country, and that a copy of the resolution be <br />;i sent to members of his family. On roll call, motion passed unanimously. <br />J mouncilman Anderson offered resolution, seconded by Councilman Granger, adjourning <br />J;. meeting of council until Monday, August 14, 19442 at 10:00 A.M., out of respect <br />f <br />the the memory of Lieutenant C.
