Anderson, C: C:: <br />Arm- <br />strong, E. A. Fletcher, Floyd D. Granger, George W. McNulty, Mayor W. W. Hilton <br />and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also present were: City,Idanager Robert W. Mead, <br />Fire Chief Mark'E. Pyran, Police Chief C. L. Collins, Building Inspector L. Id. <br />Duncan, City Collector N. L. Miramontes, Street Superintendent H. L. Winter and - <br />Health Inspector Emil Stein. Absent: Councilman Carl A. Britschgi and City <br />Attorney Paul A. TIcOarthy, <br />i Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that the minutes of the <br />-previous meeting be approved as mailed. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Application for dance permit was received from Yvonne Schlichtmann for permission to <br />hold dances on Wednesdays, October 4, and 11, until 12:00 midnight, fee having <br />i <br />been paid. Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Counci;man McNtilty, that per- <br />mit be &:•anted. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Application for daiice permit was received from Court Madrone INo. 150, F. of A. for <br />dances to be held Saturdays, October 7 and 14, until 1:00 A.M. Councilman McNulty <br />moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that permit be granted. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />' Councilman Britschgi entered the meeting. <br />Application was received from Tars. LenharC., representing the Rainbow girls for permiss4on <br />to hold rummage sale on Irtain Street on October 27th. Coundilman Anderson moved, <br />seconded by CouncilmanMcNulty, that permit be *'granted. Motion pas Fed unanimous -.1y. <br />Communication was received from H. G. Roberts, Citizens Golf Committee, urging the <br />Council to endorse the pu+-chase by -the County of San Mateo of the San Mateo Golf <br />Course. Councilman McINulty was of the opinion that this matter was up to the <br />Board of Supervisors which opinion was concurred in by Councilmen Anderson and <br />Armstrong.
