City Manager Mead reported on City Ambulance problem advising that Committee had met and considered the matter from all angles. Mr. Mead advised further that County had guaranteed 0125.00 business per month, and that it would be necessa: for�the City to contribute toward a fund to guarantee service. On motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City will pay to Yellow Cab Co. the sum of #75.00' per month, -which in addition to the amount guaranteed by the County and additional assistance from San Carlos and Atherton and pertain private industries, will guarantee 2 ambulance stand. _by service, 24 hours per day, It being understood the appropriation was a war measure only, to continue solely at the pleasure of the, Council.
