City Manager Mead explained this matter was taken care of. <br />Motion carried. <br />City Attorney McCarthy stated he was preparing a resolution embodying City Manager <br />" Meadvs recommendation -relative to establishment of funds for post-war development, <br />Councilman Anderson stated he did not think it advisable to present resolution <br />at this time, and City Attorney stated resolution may be voted upon by June 21, <br />1943. <br />Councilman Fletcher offered resolution, seconded by Councilman McNulty, covering <br />transfer amount of $5,650.00 held in tax protest fund covering taxes"pd"id by <br />Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. under protest, to the General Fund. Carried <br />on roll call. <br />Councilman Anderson offered resolution, seconded by Councilman Fletcher,'covering <br />"'....acceptance of quit -claim deeds from Albert Paden and Hazel McBride covering Lots <br />Y, 14, 151 162 17 and 19 in Block 11 as shown on Map #1 of Central Park. Carried <br />on roll call. <br />Councilman Britschgi offered resolution, seconded by Councilman Anderson.,s covering <br />extension of Perry Parking lot lease for one year from March 1, 1943 to February <br />282 1944. Carried on roll call. <br />Mepor'Granger, raised question regarding disposition of funds remaining in Hudson Stree% <br />.'^ extension fund. On motion of Councilman Fletcher., seconded by Councilman <br />Anderson, matter was referred to City Manager Mead to report back at next meeting <br />Claims in amount $5.00 each payable to Albert Paden and Hazel McBride, covering <br />t._ issuance of 'quit -claim deeds referred to above, approved and ordered paid on <br />motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Hilton. <br />>s <br />Councilman Fletcher stated incorrect parking,on Commercial Way blocked the alley, <br />".o Suggesting steps be taken to correct the practice. Referred to City .Manager Mead <br />for checking. <br />Councilman Britschgi complimented the City Council for passing the recent circus <br />poster ordinance, stating that Redwood City was the only city in this vicinity <br />cleaned -up after the circus had moved on. <br />Keeting adjourned at 9:25 P.M. <br />r <br />0 <br />0 <br />R.
