City Attorney McCarthy read the proposed resolution covering the request of Mr. Peter <br />Sorenson for permit to store equipment on. East Hopkins. On motion of Councilman <br />Anderson, seconded by Councilman McNulty, resolution was offered with -'the pro. <br />vision that a=paragraph be added to the effect that Mr. Sorenson would be held <br />responsible to reinburse the City should it become necessary at any time to remove <br />t� the equipment and clean up the street with our men and equipment. Weiner appeared before the Council in connection with the notice to abate <br />nuisance recently posted on old building located on Arguello and D Streets, <br />stating that the Building was now the property of Mr. Archibald. Mr. Weiner wad <br />NY advised that inasmuch as permit was originally„granted to him, removal of the <br />Y building was his responsibility, and abatement proceedings were to stand. This <br />5 <br />p 'will give approximately 30 days from the date of next meeting, July 15th, for <br />the matter to be taken care of.
