Frank, owner <br />of property in vicinity of Red Feather Products Co., however he had received a <br />petition from Mr. H. M. Carseallen and wife, requesting that the Red Feather <br />Products Co. area and some adjoining area totaling 370 feet along Bayshore by <br />•275 feet depth be annexed to Redwood City. Councilman Britschgi suggested the <br />Council wait for a definite answer from Mr. Frank before acting on this matter. <br />-r 'Resolution covering notice of proposed annexation was offered by Councilman <br />Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Anderson. Motion failing to carry by a vote of <br />4 noes to 3 ayes: On motion of Councilman Britechgi,'seconded by.Councilman <br />A <br />Hilton, City Attorney was directed to contact Mr. Frank,'and report back:at..the: <br />next meeting. <br />Proposed curfew ordinance was read by City Attorney McCarthy and after a. few `minor <br />*,changes were suggested, introduction was moved by Councilman Fletcher, seconded <br />by Councilman Armstrong as amended. <br />City 'Attorney McCarthy reported on the matter of bus line franchise stating that he hal <br />l: contacted Mr. Martin who promised that financial statements were forthcoming as <br />--soon as possible, also that Mr. Martin wishes to consider further .matter of <br />¢� a paying back the $1500.00 to the City. This matter placed on the Agenda for the, <br />next meeting:' <br />Proposed ordinance covering the Planning Commission recommendations regarding future <br />••subdivi'sions was discussed at some. length and ordered placed on the agenda for <br />next meeting to give Councilmen more time to study same. <br />City. -Attorney advised he had contacted both Mr. Weiner and Mr. Archibald regarding the <br />building at Arguello and D Streets. Mr. Weiner has promised to take care of <br />this matter within the next thirty days. On motion of Councilman Fletcher; <br />seconded by.Councilman McNulty proposed hearing will be postponed to the second <br />meeting in August to allow Mr. Weiner time to dispose of this building within <br />the alloted time. <br />City Attorney McCarthy read proposed S. P. Traffic ordinance covering traffic between <br />r <br />and around the S. P. Depot. After considerable discussion it was decided that <br />streets in this area covered by the ordinance should be one-way streets seven <br />days per week and 24 hours per day, also that ordinance should be considered an <br />emergency ordinance.. On motion of Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman <br />McNulty, ordinance so amended was introduced. <br />On motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, resolution was <br />offered covering agreement with State Highway Commission concerning the Bayshore <br />Freeway.
