<br />City Attorney McCarthy stated that in compliance with Councilman Armstron's instruc-
<br />tinns at lcst meeting, he was nxepnred to report on procedure to repeal ordi-
<br />nnnces #457, 471, 4782 479 and 480, pertaining to civilian defense. Council -
<br />min Armstronr-, moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher that this be carried on
<br />agenda for next meeting. On the question, Councilman Granger requested City
<br />Attorney McCarthy to report repeal of these ordinances would have on the City's
<br />liability in the event of volunteer war services workers being injured in the
<br />V�3eforn ace of their duties. Motion passed.
<br />City Attorney ?KcOorthy reporteo that he had prepare6 a resolution on contract
<br />between the City and San Mateo County to enable the city to secure deeds from
<br />the State on lots now ceing advertised for public sale. Councilman Anderson
<br />moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, that resolution be adopted. On roll
<br />call, resolution was unanimously c.dopted.

<br />Resolution of Intention No. 1945-1, passed and adopted by the Council
<br />of the City of Redwood City on the 19th day of March, 1945, as said
<br />diaa'r^m hes been prepared by R. J. Clarke, Acting City Engineer of said
<br />City of Redwood City, and submitted this 17th day of September, 1945,
<br />be and the some is hereby adopted ns the diagram of the assessment for
