Miramontes, City Collector, advising <br />that in the sale of property approved by the real estate committee and sold <br />by the county, the City of Redwood City received a check in the amount of <br />$2790.62 which was credited to delinquent taxes, weed abatement, bond assess- <br />ments and credit real estate. The sale price did not meet all the delinquent <br />bonds, anWit was requested that on Lott, Block g, Boyd and Rent's Addition, <br />Bond Series g-4, the amount of $724.80 be cancelled and on Lots 1,1, 12, <br />GTS <br />�I <br />Block 9, Range 0, Bond Series L, the amount of $1916.09 be cancelled. <br />Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, that the recom- <br />mendation of the City Collector be approved and the amounts cancelled. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Armstrong offered resolution and moved its adoption authorizing trans- <br />fer of a portion.of unbudgeted reserve to miscellaneous general government <br />insurance in the amount of $486.96, seconded by Councilman Granger. City <br />Clerk Dodge explained that the transfer was necessary because of adjust- 6 <br />ment ridersoovered by statement dated November 16, 1945, 3 year burglary <br />policy up for renewal, and because of paying two years premium on !I <br />position bond submitted by Hartford Insurance Co. On roll call resolution <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />:Rda o I u t ion No. 254. it <br />AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF A PORTION OF UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO fi <br />MISCELLANEOUS GENERAL GOVIT - INSURANCE <br />RESOLVED that the sum of $486.96 be and it is so hereby authorized <br />to be transferred by the City Treasurer from Unbudgeted Reserve to the <br />following insurance accounts: <br />Account #4094 - Fire Insurance 15.96 <br />Account #4095 - Personal Bonds 350.00 <br />Account #4095a- Burglary & Robbery 121.00 <br />$486.96 <br />Transfer of the above amount is made necessary because of adjustment <br />riders covered by statement dated November 16, 1945s, 3 year Burglary <br />policy up for renewal, and by the action of the City Council at their <br />meeting of October 15th authorizing payment of two years premium on Position <br />Bond submitted by Hartford Insurance Oo., thereby effecting a saving <br />Of $96.00. <br />The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof <br />held on the 3rd day of December, 1945, by the following vote: f <br />AYES and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br />Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, <br />MC NULTY, and HILTON. <br />NOES and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br />Councilmen: ,NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE <br />W.
