Miramontes, City Collector, advising that in the sale of property approved by the real estate committee and sold by the county, the City of Redwood City received a check in the amount of $2790.62 which was credited to delinquent taxes, weed abatement, bond assess- ments and credit real estate. The sale price did not meet all the delinquent bonds, anWit was requested that on Lott, Block g, Boyd and Rent's Addition, Bond Series g-4, the amount of $724.80 be cancelled and on Lots 1,1, 12, GTS �I Block 9, Range 0, Bond Series L, the amount of $1916.09 be cancelled. Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, that the recom- mendation of the City Collector be approved and the amounts cancelled. Motion passed unanimously. Councilman Armstrong offered resolution and moved its adoption authorizing trans- fer of a portion.of unbudgeted reserve to miscellaneous general government insurance in the amount of $486.96, seconded by Councilman Granger. City Clerk Dodge explained that the transfer was necessary because of adjust- 6 ment ridersoovered by statement dated November 16, 1945, 3 year burglary policy up for renewal, and because of paying two years premium on !I position bond submitted by Hartford Insurance Co. On roll call resolution was unanimously adopted. :Rda o I u t ion No. 254. it AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF A PORTION OF UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO fi MISCELLANEOUS GENERAL GOVIT - INSURANCE RESOLVED that the sum of $486.96 be and it is so hereby authorized to be transferred by the City Treasurer from Unbudgeted Reserve to the following insurance accounts: Account #4094 - Fire Insurance 15.96 Account #4095 - Personal Bonds 350.00 Account #4095a- Burglary & Robbery 121.00 $486.96 Transfer of the above amount is made necessary because of adjustment riders covered by statement dated November 16, 1945s, 3 year Burglary policy up for renewal, and by the action of the City Council at their meeting of October 15th authorizing payment of two years premium on Position Bond submitted by Hartford Insurance Oo., thereby effecting a saving Of $96.00. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of December, 1945, by the following vote: f AYES and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, MC NULTY, and HILTON.
