RE'S 0LU.T,I0N <br />RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City adjourn in memory of Lieutenant Elmer Nelson, a resident <br />of this City who entered into the Service of his country, and who <br />made the supreme sacrifice in the defense thereof and in the preser- <br />vation of our National principles. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City forward to the <br />fp.mily of the late Lieutenant Nelson a copy of this resolution and <br />that the same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting of <br />the City Council. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at <br />a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of January, 1946, by the <br />following vote: <br />., AYES and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br />Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, <br />MoNULTY, and HILTON. <br />i <br />NOES and against the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE <br />W. W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />ATTEST: <br />R. S. DODGE <br />Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br />I hereby approve the foregoing resolution this 7th day of <br />January, 1946. <br />W. W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Councilman Fletcher offered resolution and moved its adoption adjourning <br />meeting out of respect to the memory of Eugene O'Sullivan who lost <br />his life in the service of his country. <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City adjourn in memory of Eugene E. O'Sullivan, a resident of <br />this city who entered into the service of his country, and who made <br />the supreme sacrifice in the defense thereof and in the preservation of <br />our National principles. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City forward to the <br />family of the late Eugene E.
