HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Councilman Britschgi offered resolution and moved its adoption adjourning <br />meeting out of respect to the memory of Lt, Chas Fabry who lost his <br />life in.the service of his country. <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City adjourn in memory of Liertenant Charles -Fabry, a resident of this <br />Oity who entered into the service of his country , and who made the Sup- <br />reme sacrifice in the defense thereof and in the preservation of our <br />National principles. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that t'hd Clerk of the City forward to the <br />family of the late Lieutenant Fabry a copy of this resolution and that <br />the same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting of the City <br />Council. <br />I: Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of 4edwood City at a <br />regular meeting thereof,held on the 7th day of January, 1946, by the <br />following vote: <br />a <br />AYES and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br />Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, <br />McNULTY and HILTON. <br />NOES and against the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE <br />W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Councilman Armstrong offered resolution and moved its adoption adjourning <br />meeting out of respect to the memory of Bernard Bernasque, a city <br />employee. <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that whereas <br />Bernard Bernasque has been called to this eternal reward and his earthly <br />labors have come to an untimely end; and <br />WHEREAS said Council records here its feeling of sincere regret at <br />the passing of a loyal and capable employee who has faithfully performed <br />his duties for the City of Redwood City; and <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this meeting of the Council of the <br />City of Redwood City adjourn in the memory of Bernard Bernasque, and <br />that a copy of the resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting, <br />and that a copy duly certified by the Clerk of the Council, the seal of <br />City, be affixed thereon, bearing the signature of the Mayor, be for- <br />warded to the family of the deceased. <br />AYES: and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br />Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, <br />MoNULTY and HILTON. <br />195 <br />
