HILTON Mayor of the City of Redwood City Councilman Britschgi offered resolution and moved its adoption adjourning meeting out of respect to the memory of Lt, Chas Fabry who lost his life in.the service of his country. R E S O L U T I O N RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of the City of Redwood City adjourn in memory of Liertenant Charles -Fabry, a resident of this Oity who entered into the service of his country , and who made the Sup- reme sacrifice in the defense thereof and in the preservation of our National principles. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that t'hd Clerk of the City forward to the family of the late Lieutenant Fabry a copy of this resolution and that the same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting of the City Council. I: Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of 4edwood City at a regular meeting thereof,held on the 7th day of January, 1946, by the following vote: a AYES and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, McNULTY and HILTON. HILTON Mayor of the City of Redwood City Councilman Armstrong offered resolution and moved its adoption adjourning meeting out of respect to the memory of Bernard Bernasque, a city employee. R E S O L U T I O N RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that whereas Bernard Bernasque has been called to this eternal reward and his earthly labors have come to an untimely end; and WHEREAS said Council records here its feeling of sincere regret at the passing of a loyal and capable employee who has faithfully performed his duties for the City of Redwood City; and THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City adjourn in the memory of Bernard Bernasque, and that a copy of the resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting, and that a copy duly certified by the Clerk of the Council, the seal of City, be affixed thereon, bearing the signature of the Mayor, be for- warded to the family of the deceased.
