DOBGE City Clerk <br />t <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING_ <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 49 1946 <br />8:00 P. M. <br />On roll call the following were present: Councilmen C. C. Armstrong, Carl <br />Britschgi, E. A. Fletcher, Floyd D. Granger, George W. McNulty, Mayor <br />W. W. Hilton and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also present were: City Manager <br />E. We Blom, City Attorney Paul A. McCarthy, Police Chief 0. L. Cblline, <br />Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Lodi, City Collector N. L. Miramontes, Street <br />Superintendent H. L. Winter, Acting City Engineer 0. Be Randlett, Assist- <br />ant Building Inspector Stephen Kreiss, Health Inspector Royal Hodge. <br />Absent: Councilman Harold F. Anderson. Mayot Hilton advised that Council- <br />man Anderson was absent because of illness. <br />Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as mailed. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Application for dance permit was received from Yvonne Schlichtmann to conduct <br />dances Wednesdays, February 6th and 13th until 12:00 midnight, fee having <br />been paid. Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, <br />that permit be granted subject to the usual conditions. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Application for dance permit was received from Court Madrone No. 158, F. of A., <br />to conduct benefit dances Saturdays, February 9th and 16th until 12:00 <br />midnight. Councilman McNulty moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that <br />permit be granted. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Communication was received from J. J. Jordan, Superintendent of the Southern <br />Pacific Railroad Company referring to Resolution No. 247 granting per- <br />mission to Southern Pacific Company to maintain railroad Gateman's. Tower <br />on Wilson Street. Attached for filing by the city was written acceptance <br />of the Southern Pacific Company of all of the provisions of the above <br />mentioned resolution. Mr. Jordan asked to be advised of the date the doou- <br />,ment is filed. Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher <br />that the resolution and written acceptance of the Southern Paciific.Company <br />be filed. Under the question, Councilman Armstrong asked if all restric- <br />tions and conditions of the Council had been inserted. City Attorney <br />McCarthy advised that all conditions had been inserted including that of <br />the city reserving the right to remove all improvements on Wilson Street <br />209 <br />Hm <br />
