C. ARMSTRONG, C. A. BRITSCHGI, E. A. FLETCHER, <br />F. D. GRANGER, G. W. McNULTY and W. W. HILTON. <br />NOES and against the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: H. F. ANDERSON <br />W. W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />ATTEST: <br />RALPH S. DODGE <br />_,Clerk of the City of Redwood, City <br />I hereby approve the foregoing resolution this 4th day of February, <br />1946. <br />W. W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City. <br />Councilmen Granger offered resolution adjournipg meeting out of respect to the <br />memory of Sergeant Nesbitt J. Pierce who lost his life while in the service <br />of his country. <br />R E 8 0 L U T I 0 N <br />RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City adjourn in memory of Sergeant Nesbitt J. Pierce, a resident of this <br />city who entered into the service of his country, and who made the supreme <br />sacrifice in the defense thereof and in the preservation of our national <br />principles. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City forward to the <br />family of the late Sergeant Pierce a copy of this resolution and that the <br />same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting of the City Council. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a <br />regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of February, 19460 by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolu- <br />tion: Councilmen: O.C. ARMSTRON, C. A. BRITSCHGI, E. A. FLETCHER, F. D. <br />GRANGER, G. W. McNULTY and W. W.
