HILTON Mayor of the City of Redwood City. Councilmen Granger offered resolution adjournipg meeting out of respect to the memory of Sergeant Nesbitt J. Pierce who lost his life while in the service of his country. R E 8 0 L U T I 0 N RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of the City of Redwood City adjourn in memory of Sergeant Nesbitt J. Pierce, a resident of this city who entered into the service of his country, and who made the supreme sacrifice in the defense thereof and in the preservation of our national principles. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City forward to the family of the late Sergeant Pierce a copy of this resolution and that the same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting of the City Council.
