On roll call,, ordinance was unanimously adopted with Council- 44 man Anderson absent, Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, filing of affidavit of publication of ordinance granting easement across Chestnut Street near 1 Bay Road to the Land Development Company for the purpose of building a spur ! track. Motion passed unanimously. �I City Manager Blom reported that in checking with the Southern Pacific Company the I, minimum width that the State Railroad Commission required for a spur track was twenty feet and that the Southern Pacific was required to maintain the area of;.the track and between the rails and on two feet on either side. No structure would be permitted on Bay Road except the rails. In view of this, i r an easement twenty feet in width had been stated in the ordinance.
