This was agreeable to the
Council and the City Clerk was designated to appoint election officials.
City Attorney McCarthy presented a letter which the San Francisco Bank was to
sign assuring that it holds $80,000 deposited by the Land Development Compa ny
hand which it will continue to hold until the completion of the public im-
provements required by the City Council and acceptance thereof in tract known
as Redwood Terrace No. 1. There was a second paragraph to the proposed letter
referring to non-performance of the contract within the time required, however,
after discussion it was decided this paragraph was not necessary.
