I hereby approve the foregoing resolution this 4th day of March, 1946. W. W. HILTON Mayor of the City of Redwood Oity I City Attorney McCarthy presented a resolution authorizing a quit claim deed to Hugh McClean and wife to Lot 12, Block 9, Range C, Mezesville, except for any lien under the 1911 Improvement Act. City Attorney MCCarthy explained that Mr. McClean purchased this lot from the county and that the ordinary release from the:City Tax Collector is not sufficient. Councilman Anderson moved adoption of resolution authorizing quit claim deed to Hugh McClean WE i to Lot 12, Block 9, Range C, Mezesville, except any lien under the 1911 Improvement Act and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the i. deed. -The motion was seconded by Councilman McNulty. On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. R E S 0 L U T ION NO. 283 AUTHORIZING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO HUGH MCLEAN and MARGARET B. MCLEAN, HIS WIFE, AS JOINT TENANTS. WHEREAS, RALPH C. MacARTHUR, as Tax Collector of San Mateo County, State of California, heretofore sold the parcel of real property herein- after described to 14UGH McLEAN and MARGARET B. McLEAN, his wife, as Joint Tenants, and the City of Redwood City has received full satisfac- tion of'any lien for taxes or assessments thereon; I r-1 RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City that said Council does hereby authorize the execution of a quit claim deed from said City to said Hugh McLean and Margaret B. Mc Lean, his wife of all interest of said City in said real property hereinafter described, ex- cept any claim or lien under the Improvement Act of 1911,•and directs the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute such deed for and on behalf of said City. The property referred to is situated in the City of Redwood City, State of California, and particularly described as follows: Lot 12 in Block'9, Range 0, as shown on that certain map entitled "Town of Mezesville", recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, State of Calif- ornia on August 1, 1856 in Book 1 of Maps at page 79. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of March, 1946, by the following vote: AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, FLETCHER, McNULTY and HILTON NOES, and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: NONE ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE W.
