He asked if <br />the purchaser were the former owner. Councilman Granger moved, seconded by <br />G Councilman Britschgi that the matter be carried on the agenda of the ad- <br />journed meeting so that the City Manager can determine wheter it is a new <br />owner or not. Motion passed unanimously. <br />+i City Clerk Dodge advised that due to the press of business caused by the election <br />jand sale of city bonds, he had not closed his books until later than usual <br />and that mr. Uhlenberg, the public auditor, had asked if it would be satis- <br />factory to the Council if he combined the months of January and February <br />in his next report; The Council was agreeable to this suggestion. <br />l! i <br />i, <br />Councilman Granger suggested that the County Tax Collector be notified of the <br />sale of any city lot to avoid duplicating such sales. <br />r Councilman Granger asked that the County Clerk be notified when new annexations <br />are made to the City in order to assist in keeping his election precincts <br />up to date. <br />Councilman Britschgi asked if there was any way to prevent the Southern Pacific <br />Company from not clearing the crossing on Broadway when trains stop at the <br />i <br />station. The Southern Pacific Company was to be contacted in regard to . <br />{ this to see if this situation could be corrected. <br />i Councilman McNulty questioned material being puchased from the West Bay Lumber <br />Company and asked if the material could not be purchased in town. Build- <br />ing Inspector Duncan replied that it was special mill work for the tele- <br />phone booth and could not be purchased in town. <br />Councilman McNulty moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that Claims <br />No. 6565 to 6612 in the amount of $14,288.65, be approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by Councilman Armstrong, that the meeting <br />be adjourned to 8:00 P.
