<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said final map be and the, same is
<br />hereby approved, and the offers of dediation thereon set forth be'and the
<br />same are hereby accepted, and the Clerk of said City be and he is hereby
<br />arthorized and directed to endorse thereon over his signature an order of
<br />this Council approving said map and accepting the said offers of dedication
<br />thereon, and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.

<br />Councilman Fletcher offered resolution and moved its adoption;vordering appoint-
<br />ment of the firm of Milson and Kirkbride as attorneys in the proceedings,
<br />seconded by Councilman McNulty. On roll call, resolution was unanimously
<br />adopted with Councilmen Anderson and Britschgi absent.

<br />APPOINTING ATTORNEYS

<br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, California,
<br />that
<br />WHEREAS, request has been made on behalf of the owners of the property
<br />to be assessed for the cost and expense of the public improvement work to
<br />be done in and for Redwood Village No. 1, for the appointment of attorneys
<br />for the preparation of all resolutions, notices and other papers and pro-
<br />ceedings in connection therewith, under the Redwood City Improvement Pro-
<br />cedure Code No. 333, for the construction of improvements more particularly
<br />described in the petition for said work filed with the City Clerk; and
<br />WHEREAS, the cost of said services is to be charged as an incidental
<br />expense of said proceedings, and 1s not otherwise to be a charge against
<br />said City;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the law firm of Messrs. Kirbride
<br />& Wilson, Bond Attorney, San Mateo, California, be and they are hereby
<br />appointed and employed to do and perform all legal services required in the
<br />conduct of said proceedings, including the preparation of all resolutions,
<br />notices, and others papers and proceedings in connection therewith, and
<br />advising the engineers in said proceedings, and giving of such other advice
<br />as they may be called upon to furnish during the conduct of slid proceed-
<br />ings, and that their compensation be and it is hereby fixed at two per
<br />cent (2°b,) of the construction cost of said improvements to be assessed as
<br />incidental expense of said .proceedings, and not otherwise, and to be paid
<br />one-half upon the award of the contract for said work, and the balance upon
<br />completion of said work and issuance of a warrant for the cost thereof.
<br />I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution
<br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, California, at a
<br />regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of March, 1946, by the follow-
