HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Councilman Fletcher offered resolution authorizing quit claim deed to Delemos <br />pill <br />' and wife, seconded by Councilman McNulty. City Attorney McCarthy explained <br />that the lot had been included in the McEnerney Suit and that a quit claim <br />deed was necessary in order to redeem the lot. Resolution was unanimously <br />adopted with Councilman Anderson absent. <br />R E S 0 L U T I"ON No. 303 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING QUITCLAIM DEED FROM THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />A • TO JOSEPH DeLEMOS AND WIFE AS JOINT TENANTS. <br />WHEREAS, Ralph C. MacArthur, as Tax Collector of the County of San <br />Mateo, State of California, heretofore sold the real property hereinafter <br />described for delinquent.taxes of the County of San Mateo, and the City <br />of Redwood City has received full satisfaction of its lien for taxes and <br />assessments against said property prior to the fiscal year 1945-46; <br />i, RESOLVED, by the City. Council of the City of Redwood City that in <br />r consideration of the sum of $143.74 received on February 15, 1945 from the <br />County of San Mateo as this City's pro rata of said sale price and the <br />cancellation of all taxes and assessments which were then a lien against <br />the property herein after described, aggregating $143.74, said Council <br />' does hereby authorize the execution of a quitclaim deed from this City to <br />JOSEPH DeLEMOS and KATHERINE DeLEMOS, his wife, as Joint -Tenants of that <br />certain real property situated in the City of Redwood City, County of San <br />Mateo, State of California, particularly described as follows: <br />Lot 6 in Block 43 of Central Park No. 2 as shown and delineated on <br />that certain map entitled_ "Map No. 2 of Central Park Redwood City <br />San Mateo County", filed in the office of the County Recorder of <br />San Mateo County, State of California on the 20th day of July, <br />1912 in Book 6 of Maps at pages 15 and 16, <br />excepting for any claim or lien against said property under the Improve- <br />ment Act of 1911. <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk of this City be and they <br />are hereby authorized to execute such deed for and on behalf of this City. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on <br />the 15th day of April, 1946, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />Resolution: <br />Councilmen: ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, FLETCHER, GRANGER, MaNULTY and <br />HILTON <br />NOES, and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution, <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: ANDERSON <br />W.
